This past weekend, Vancouver experienced a brush with Typhoon Songda. What do you do when your house bound weathering a storm? Colour!
Last year, I purchased two colouring books which sat on a shelf behind a closed door, until I remembered about them. The frequent traveler in me opted for Canadian artist Steve McDonald's 'Fantastic Cities' colouring book. Many cities around the world are drawn for you to colour in. Like Amsterdam (below), Central Park West, Manhattan; Istanbul, Turkey and Sunset on Santorini, Greece to name a few. His illustrations of urban landscapes are stunning enough on their own!
Choose to showcase it in a frame or simply leave it attached in the book as a conversation piece on your living room's coffee table.
