SMALL SPACE LIVING | THE HALLWAY SHOE CLOSET

When living in small spaces, using the wall height comes into play when storing a vast shoe collection.
I admit that I own probably more than enough shoes.  But, it looks like the hubby is winning in the converse department at home.
I've always liked the idea of displaying a collection on open shelves, using the same brand of shoes. Especially, when they come in an abundance of colours and patterns like converse does.  In a way, they act as an art installment in our space which works well with the white interior as a backdrop.

I've used IKEA's ALGOT shelf with bracket to create a continuous vertical storage unit for shoes.  They fit up to a men's size 9.  I was able to fit 26 pairs of shoes into this doorway niche!!

    1. Yah...I had a lot of shoes (Converse) to store! I thought... Why not display them like art pieces?! Luckily, this niche of unused space accommodated them! I am so happy you liked the post and visited my blog!
