January is the time of year when interior design magazine covers are graced with the word Trends. It's the start of a new year, renewal. Consumers get a sneak peak at what's to come for paint colours, tiles, lighting, fabrics, furniture, style trends and the list goes on.
But, it's not only interiors that have forecasted trends for the new year. Fashion magazine giants maybe the most googled when it comes to trends. I'd like to think interior design and fashion go hand in hand.
They are similar in the way: jewelry = accessories | scarf = throw | construction of clothing = furniture.
