I love to travel and when you travel a lot like I do, you spend a considerable amount of time inside an airport. So I was intrigued with Chanel's Spring/Summer 2016 Ready-to-Wear fashion show this past October in Paris. I applaud the PR and creative departments on this inspiring and inventive idea as Karl Lagerfeld and Co. transformed the Grand Palais into an airport for the collections fashion show. The collection took off from Terminal 2C, checked-in at Chanel counters and departed from gate N°5 all at the Aeroport Paris Cambon airport.
Destinations indicated on the departure board included Dubai, Tokyo, Seoul and Singapore. All of these cities are where Chanel will be traveling to show the Spring 2016 Ready-To-Wear collection.
What captivated me on the concourse (runway) were the Chanel hard-case wheelie carry-on bags, the "Coco Case", oversized mirror lenses aviator sunglasses which walked in a array of jewel toned colors, and the wide leg trousers (read my Fashion Trend Alert! back in September).

When runway models were not wearing sunglasses, they adorned beautiful blue-toned eye make-up reminiscent of lead vocalist Luke Steele's from Aussie Rock Band, Empire of the Sun.
